Seems like it was only two months, two weeks, and five days ago when Red Fraggle and her faithful assistant Karen Prell made their appearance at a Los Angeles comic book store for Free Comic Book Day. And just in case you missed the festivities, they’ll be popping their little heads out of their Fraggle Hole at this year’s Comic Con International in San Diego!

Comic Con is running from July 22 to July 25 (that’s this weekend!), and it’s the one-stop shop for everything comic-related in the entire world.

The press release from The Jim Henson Company is as follows:

Comic-Con attendees:
Join in the Fraggle Rock Fun! Come see Red Fraggle and world renowned puppeteer Karen Prell this Saturday, July 24 at The Hub TV Experience in the San Diego Ballroom at The San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina, 333 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA. The Hub, a new cable television network for kids and their families, launches 10-10-10. It is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc.

And Red won’t be the only Muppet-related appearance at Comic Con (so to speak). Archaia Comics is hosting a Jim Henson Company panel on Sunday, July 25 at 11:00am, featuring writers and artists from the Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth, and Dark Crystal comics, with super special guest Brian Froud! Neato!

UPDATE: In addition to Red’s appearance, the Jim Henson Company has also set up a small Fraggle Rock exhibit at the same location, featuring some archival items and original artwork! The display is open through Sunday and is completely free! So if you’re in San Diego, you have no excuse.
