PBS to Air Sesame Jazz Concert

As you may recall, last October there was a swell jazz concert in Lincoln Center celebrating Sesame Street’s 50th anniversary, with live Muppets, great jazz versions of Sesame standards, and even Ernie in nothing but a bath towel. We here at Tough Pigs were lucky enough to see it live and found it immensely entertaining. For those of you who missed it, I recommend you get your DVRs ready.

An hour-long edit of A Swingin’ Sesame Street Celebration: 50 Years and Counting will make its television premiere on PBS on Friday, October 30 at 9 pm EST. Time and dates may vary between PBS stations, so we highly recommend you check your local listings to ensure you don’t miss out on this great show.
