On August 13th, 2001, approximately 70 million years ago (sorry, wait… my calculator glitched… just 20 years ago) ToughPigs.com launched and set the Muppet fan world ablaze. Somehow, inexplicably defeating the odds, we’re still here two full decades later.
Over the next couple weeks, we’ll be celebrating ToughPigs’ long history. Though it’s exciting to look back at all we’ve accomplished, it’s way more interesting to look forward. This website has kept its classic purple look (technically classified as “Miss Piggy’s Gloves Purple” by Pantone) since 2009, and while we loved it for what it was, it eventually began to feel very… old. And like many people, we may be old, but we certainly don’t want to look old.
Thankfully, due to the generous donations from our Patreon followers, we’re prioritizing using those funds to keep up with the times. We’ve hired a talented designer who helped bring a new vision to life, providing a new home for ToughPigs’ features, news, podcasts, and more.
We hope you enjoy clicking around the new and improved ToughPigs! And keep an eye on this space for all of the exciting features and surprises we have in store to continue our big 20th anniversary celebration!
