There’s been some truly stellar Sesame Street merchandise over the years, from walking letters to LEGO playsets.  It’s always a thrill to see more new and exciting merch coming from our friends at Sesame Workshop, and they’ve just announced a new batch of stuff made specifically for superfans like you and me!

Check out all the newest Sesame Street stuff we’ll be able to get our grubby mitts on below!

Teeny Little Super Guy Shot Glasses

Say, did I ever tell you the one about… your new favorite shot glasses!  Enjoy your favorite whisky or other spirits with one of Sesame Street’s most beloved animated characters.  You know, for kids!

$5.99 each, Scotch not included

Oscar the Grouch Trash Can Replica

Sure, you could walk into your local hardware store and just buy a metal trash can, but wouldn’t you be more secure knowing that it’s fit for a grouch? That’s why there’s this definitely official Oscar the Grouch trash can replica. Nope, it’s not a normal trash can they grabbed at Home Depot, Sesame Workshop told us themselves that Oscar uses this same type of can. They said so in the note they attached to the trash can, which was announced by crashing through our window! Now we have a place to put the glass shards. Wasn’t that thoughtful of them?

$19.69

The Letter J

Sesame Street has been brought to you by the letter J approximately 300 times since 1969. But that’s only on your television screen! Thank goodness Sesame Workshop is now selling a physical copy in stores. Jackpot! There have been so many times that we’ve forgotten what letter starts words like “jamboree,” or “Jeremy Jordan.” Now there can be two cars in every garage, and a J in every alphabet, just as Jeorje Washington intended when he discovered this great country of ours while trying to locate the Spice Islands. Thank you Mr. Washington, and thank you Sesame Workshop for this joyous jewel.

$J.55

Big Boy/Sesame Street Comic Book Reprint

After decades, the most important reference text in Muppet history can be yours. No, I’m not talking about “Jim Henson: The Works,” “Jim Henson: The Biography,” or those crummy style guides. I’m talking about “Adventures of Big Boy” #265, where everyone’s favorite chain restaurant mascot visited Sesame Street and then went off to meet Jim Henson himself. How else would we know that Big Bird’s a girl? Or that Ernie is actually blue? Or that Grover loves to wear lederhosen? These are the facts they should be teaching in schools! Who needs long division?

$3.99, comes with choice of two sides

Pre-chewed Cookie Monster Cookies

Like getting a game-used baseball, this is the greatest gift any Sesame Street fan can receive: cookies chewed by none other than Cookie Monster. These crumbs are hand-(and mouth-) om-nom-nommed by the monster that’s been terrorizing boxes of Chips Ahoy for generations. And when you pick up this bag of crumbs, you can be assured that the last thing these cookies saw intact was some hilarious antic possibly involving the number four. It’s poetry that’s hard to vacuum out of the carpet.

$0.00, provided you bring your own cookies

Sesame Street “Rocco” Replica

Despite what Elmo may tell you, it’s not “just a rock” – it’s Rocco!  Zoe’s pet rock!  And you can have one of your very own without fear of judgment from Elmo or the need to teach it how to dance ballet.  How often do you get the chance to own a replica of an actual Sesame Street character??  You’ll have no choice but to make this rock your new best friend.

$30.99 ($1 for the rock, $29.99 for the Sesame logo)
