When Lost producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse first announced that they had been shooting some “Lost Slapdown” web videos with Muppets, they mentioned their excitement at having gotten to work with Kermit the Frog. Since then, we’ve seen Slapdown episodes starring Bobo & Rizzo, the Swedish Chef, and a trio of Bill Barretta characters, but no Kermit… until now. Of course, Lost ended this past Sunday, so Kermit’s visit to the writer’s room seen in the video must take place in the past. I guess that means it’s a flashback.
I think a few viewers of Sunday’s final episode shared Kermit’s reaction there. By the way, I would just like to point out that I totally predicted the Sawyer’s-tree-frog reference on Twitter back when we first heard about this. What do I win?
