Netflix has a lot of great original series that are dark and gritty and strictly for grown-ups, like Daredevil, Orange Is the New Black, Bloodline (Does anyone besides me watch that one?).  It’s about time for something bright and kid-friendly.  With puppets.  And Julie Andrews.

So it’s a good thing the Henson Company-produced Julie’s Greenroom is coming on March 17th.  As announced a few months ago, Greenroom stars Andrews and a gang of Henson Company-built puppet called the Greenies, and it’s all about celebrating the performing arts, with the help of a bunch of guest stars.  Per Muppet Wiki, puppeteers on the series include Jennifer Barnhart, Tyler Bunch, Frankie Cordero, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Dorien Davies, John Kennedy, Noel MacNeal, Paul McGinnis, Kenny Stevenson, and John Tartaglia.

Here’s the new trailer:

Well, that looks thoroughly charming.  And leave it to Julie Andrews to make the word “mashup” sound elegant.
