I’m pretty sure there’s some kind of rule that says every kids’ cartoon show has to have an episode where the characters form a band. The new Muppet Babies is no exception, with Collider reporting that an episode called “Muppet Rock” is set to air tomorrow on Disney Jr at 9:30 AM ET/PT. And guess who makes a guest appearance? If you’ve read the headline and looked at the image above and you’re not a dummy, you know the answer: It’s Dr. Teeth! And there’s a preview clip. Check it out:
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that there is no Muppet continuity or canon. This doesn’t mean Animal was just a baby when the rest of the Electric Mayhem was already touring the world as rock stars. It does not mean this is the new, official story of how Dr. Teeth first met all of these Muppets. And in fact, this is probably all just in the babies’ imaginations, so why am I even typing these words? I don’t know. But I do know it’s pretty groovy that the REAL Dr. Teeth is going to be on Muppet Babies! Tune in tomorrow to see what Animal decides!
