We announced the Muppets’ upcoming performance with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall back in February, but at the time, we only knew of two (groups of) performers: The Muppets and the New York Pops. Well, we know a bit more now.
The event will be hosted by Muppet performer and Avenue Q star John Tartaglia, and will feature a slew of Muppet and Sesame Street performers such as Kevin Clash, Eric Jacobson, David Rudman, Matt Vogel, Pam Arciero, Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Rollie Krewson, Lara MacLean, Karen Prell, and Dave Goelz.
The Sesame Street humans will be in attendance too! Folks like Alison Bartlet (Gina), Loretta Long (Susan), Sonia Manzano (Maria), Bob McGrath (Bob), Alan Muraoka (Alan), Roscoe Orman (Gordon), and Nitya Vidyasagar (Leela).
But that’s not all! The roster also includes The Muppet Show guest star and The Muppet Movie songwriter Paul Williams! And Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch! Williams I get, but what could we possibly expect from Dratch?? You’ll just have to show up and find out!
