Remember when we told you about Build-a-Bear Workshop’s planned Kermit and Miss Piggy dolls? Well, I have good news and better news. The good news is that Kermit and Piggy and their clothing should be popping up at your local Build-a-Bear store any day now, and you can already buy them on the official website.
The better news is that not only are these pretty good plushy likenesses of the frog and the pig, they’re also puppets! So once you dress them up you can make them talk to each other, or perhaps reenact that press conference where Piggy insulted Fox News. The link above features the basic naked Kermit and pink-slip Piggy (She’s wearing one, not getting fired), as well as “Fabulous Miss Piggy,” “Handsome Guy Kermit,” and “Casual Pal Kermit,” who is probably my favorite because of his t-shirt:
You gotta respect a guy with the chutzpah to wear a shirt with his own face on it.
