On Saturday, May 11, the Kids’ Comic Con will be held up in the Bronx.  And we’ve learned that there’s going to be a little Muppet presence there as well, so if you’ll be in the New York City area, you might want to check that out.

The first panel, “Can You Tell Me How to Get…” part 1 will be held at 12:30pm:

Jim Henson Legacy Archivist Karen Falk and artists Louis Mitchell and Diana Leto discuss embracing your creative energy. Audience members will enjoy a sneak peek at the upcoming graphic novel “The Halloween Legion”, rare animated clips by Muppets creator Jim Henson, and learn about how to take all the necessary steps to following your dreams with your talents.

“Can You Tell Me How to Get…” part 2 will be held at 2:30pm:

Join members of the Sesame Street creative team – Louis Mitchell and Diana Leto, puppeteer Noel MacNeal, and Jim Henson Legacy Archivist Karen Falk, as they answer you questions, share their experiences and talk about how they got to work on the most famous street in the world.

Muppeteer Noel MacNeal will be on hand selling and signing his book, “10-Minute Puppets”, and Karen Falk will be selling and signing her book, “Imagination Illustrated”.

The Kids’ Comic Con will be held at the Bronx Community College at Colston Hall at 181st Street and Univeristy Ave (near the 4 train and within walking distance of the B and D trains).
