On Sunday, December 4 at 7:00pm, Brian Henson will be at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens, where he will host “The Evolution of Puppetry“, a presentation all about the unique “Henson-style” form of puppetry, including techniques from The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, as well as more recent productions like Sid the Science Kid and Farscape.

The show will feature some live demonstrations, as well as a Q&A with Brian.  Hopefully he’ll be answering a lot of questions about Hoggle.

But that’s not the best part!  The best part is, because you all are so awesome for reading this website, the Museum of the Moving  Image is offering you a $5 discount!  (Price for the “normals”: $25.)  Just call the museum at (718) 777-6800 and mention “ToughPigs” while pre-ordering your tickets to save a few bucks!  Easy as that.

You can also receive the discount by entering the code “momievofpup” at the checkout on the museum’s website.  But it’s way more fun to say “ToughPigs” out loud, don’t you think?
