The Muppets has another award nomination!  Of course it does, because it’s a quality show that deserves accolades and a second season and Disney, are you listening???

They’ve received a nomination for an Art Directors Guild Award in the category of Half Hour Single-Camera Television Series!  The team nominated include Production Designer Denise Pizzini, Set Director Don Diers, Graphic Designer Geoffrey Mandel, Asst. Art Director Claudie Roque, Set Designer Kenneth Larson, and Graphic Designer Marissa Zajack.

Below, you’ll find examples of the set designs that earned them the nomination, including some fantastic photos we haven’t seen before!  Including shots of Rowlf’s Tavern, the Electric Mayhem Bus, Kermit’s backyard swamp, and more!

They’re up against The Last Man on Earth, Transparent, and Veep, all of which are great shows, but none as deserving as The Muppets (sorry, Julia Louis Dreyfus).

Finally, you can watch Pepe’s message of love to the nominees below, as posted on Facebook.
