This year’s 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were unique, in that they were delivered to us in two separate broadcasts on two different platforms: a televised ceremony in June and an virtual ceremony streamed in July. These ceremonies were brought to us from the homes of various celebrity-types, including Cookie Monster, who was on hand to present (and eat) the envelope for “Outstanding Culinary Series” for the June ceremony.

The televised show also highlighted memorable moments from past ceremonies, including the Sesame Street performance celebrating the show’s 35th anniversary. And as always, there was an “In Memoriam” segment and Caroll Spinney was rightfully included.
